Tycho.AI “Awardable” for U.S. Military Operations, According to New DoW Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace Classification

January 29, 2026

Cambridge, MA – [January 29, 2026] – Tycho.AI, a defense technology leader in autonomous navigation and edge autonomous intelligence (EAI) in contested environments, today announced that it has achieved “Awardable” status through the Department of War (DoW) Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office’s (CDAO) Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace.

This new classification streamlines U.S. military access to Tycho.AI’s Voyager hardware and software autonomy stack. Voyager tightly integrates with uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) to enable autonomous navigation and edge autonomous intelligence in global navigation satellite system (GNSS)-denied and comms-contested environments. It delivers proven precision at speeds up to 200 mph and altitudes as low as 25 feet above ground level (AGL) in challenging conditions and domains, including over the water. Voyager acts as a force multiplier and can be tailored for specific mission sets, such as intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), one-way attack, swarming, counter-UAS, modeling, and mission planning.

“Today’s national security missions demand more autonomy in increasingly contested and congested domains. Voyager delivers the precise navigation and the autonomous intelligence needed at the edge for any platform, any mission, in any environment,” said Thom Kenney, Tycho.AI CEO. “Being recognized as ‘awardable’ in the Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace accelerates our ability to deliver these intelligent autonomous solutions to the frontlines.”

The Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace is the premier offering of Tradewinds, the DoW’s suite of tools and services designed to accelerate the procurement and adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML), data, and analytics capabilities.

Tycho.AI was recognized among a competitive field of applicants to the Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace, showcasing solutions that demonstrate innovation, scalability, and potential impact on DoW missions. Government customers can create a Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace account at tradewindAI.com to view Voyager’s full capabilities and all of Tycho.AI’s offerings.
